Many have thought that Bible Memory Ministries is only for youth and children, yet that is not the case. We feel God has called ALL ages to be “ROOTED” in 2025. We are thrilled to introduce twenty verses designed for the whole family that will help prepare your camper for this summer’s theme! The “ROOTED” theme is, of course, about how deep roots provide nourishment, but a huge purpose of deep roots is that they help plants to remain steadfast in times of difficulty. No matter your age, join us in rooting these twenty verses into your heart and mind
Why We Feel Like We Need to Memorize These Scriptures
- Faith-Building: Bible memorization is a fundamental way of filling our minds with what it needs. Decades ago, a person had to memorize three hundred verses to attend camp; now they are thirty-two. We felt we needed to raise the spiritual bar and offer a total of fifty-two verses, or one a week. These twenty new verses are not mandatory to get a camp discount, but we are working on an additional incentive for those who complete the twenty “rooted” verses before camp.
- Family Connection: Memorize these verses together with your family. Pray and watch how God uses these verses in your children’s lives. Strengthen your family’s connection with verses everyone can participate in.
- Verses with a Purpose: These verses are the foundation for our summer camp theme next year. By memorizing these verses, your camper is building a library for the Holy Spirit to breathe in and through you.
This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth. (Joshua 1:8) That’s where you need it! How does it get into your mouth? Memorization!
